Ixil is a Mayan language spoken by inhabitants of the three towns of San Juan Cotzal, Santa Maria Nebaj, and San Gaspar Chajul in Guatemala. Ixil is the native language of around 120,000 individuals. Because Ixil is a language of limited diffusion, finding an Ixil interpreter can prove extremely difficult.
